SUSTAINING ENGINEERING

Acevin provides Sustaining Engineering and Product Re-engineering services to help clients re-engineer their working products which are having challenges due to component obsolescence, technology obsolescence, product cost, size, power consumption or any other manufacturing issue.  Let Acevin take on the headache of re-engineering - we excel at it!

Re-engineering is the re-analysis and re-design of a system, not bound by the previous design approach. Often times, clients discover they have a good product, a legacy system, which has ended up having obsolete components and hence, cannot be manufactured anymore. This makes it all the more important for them to ensure that the replacement has minimal or no impact on the rest of the solution.  In some cases, the new design of a board or system will need the same form and fit to be inserted into the legacy enclosure; in other cases the client is able to significantly reduce footprint, power and cost by taking advantage of latest technologies.

Even if our client have only an old board with less than a PDF schematic drawing or functional requirements, we are able to reverse engineer the solution to re-engineer a new solution.

Our product re-engineering solutions focus on retaining the core features and logic of the existing system, while bolstering the system by migrating it to emerging technologies. Our re-engineering service is Agile and timely, and it will help you make a smooth transition from old, redundant systems to new, advanced technology environments and at a fraction of the estimated costs.

Acevin's design team has ample expertise and skills required for re-engineering the entire product while using the latest components. This process is usually done for either obsolescence or cost reduction. It’s also used to reproduce a cost-effective alternative to ensure a competitive edge for our clients.

If you have a requirement of re-engineering of your working products/solutions, Acevin is here to help you!
